Shazia's Story

I found yoga during a difficult season of life. I was looking for something—somewhere I could feel safe, grounded, and at ease in my own skin. Yoga became that space for me. It was where I felt I could simply be—no pressure to perform or fix anything. Just a space to breathe, find comfort, and reconnect with myself.

That experience showed me how much our bodies hold onto—grief, trauma, stress—and how healing it can be to return to them with care. That awareness shapes how I teach. I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where students can move at their own pace and honor what feels good in their bodies.

My classes are rooted in self-agency and exploration. Whether it’s movement, stillness, or rest, students are always invited to take what they need.

I also love travelling and taking yoga classes in new cities—it keeps me inspired and always learning from different voices and styles.
