Pete Brown

 Pete brings a unique background and perspective to personal training. He has a degree in both Exercise Science and Psychology. He holds a mastery level certification through the Resistance Training Specialist Program and is a part-time instructor at Madison College.


What type of client does Pete work best with?

Anyone that is ready to take a more mindful and life-long body focused approach to exercise and health. It does not matter whether you are 9 or 90, an elite athlete or a beginner; if you are ready for custom exercise catered around the health and longevity of your body, then you are a perfect client. Mindfulness is often described as moment to moment awareness; this is the exact level of concentration we are hoping to obtain when exercising. In an exercise world where the focus has been placed mindlessly on how much, how many, how fast and so on, we have lost sight of an incredibly important perspective - how well. To get at this we have to shift to a mindful and body focused approach that places the focus of exercise where it should be, on improving the health of your body. If you are ready to start that process, then you are a perfect client.
