Jamie took her first yoga class while living in Seattle in 2002 to help with anxiety and has been practicing every since. She has a deep respect for the ability of the human body to heal itself and has seen firsthand what a consistent yoga and meditation practice can do to calm the mind and deepen the connection to self and others. Jamie's classes encourage students to cultivate stability and space in the body. With a focus on alignment and breath awareness, expect a heart centered practice designed to facilitate inquiry, growth, and transformation.
Jamie is a Usui Reiki Master and Essential Oil Educator; her offerings include one-on-one yoga, reiki, chakra balancing and essential oil consultations. She leads workshops and retreats that combine yoga asana, yoga nidra, emotional repatterning with essential oils, and inquistive journaling.
Jamie completed her first 200 hour teacher training in 2014 through Perennial Yoga & Meditation and is currently enrolled in a second 200 hr program with RajaHatha School of Yoga in Madison, WI. She was certified in Level III Usui Reiki in 2016 and Chakra Balancing in 2017.
