I tried my first yoga class at the age of 18 and the flame was lit. It was the mind body connection that I had been missing. Starting a regular practice was transformative and I wanted to share it with anyone who would listen. I started teaching yoga in 2010 received my ERYT-200 certification from Inner Fire Yoga.
As a former dancer I both enjoy practicing and sequencing my classes to music. I’m always having fun with my practice which means finding the balance of heat, strength, and relaxation.
I ask my students to be accepting and honoring of where their bodies, practice, and mind is today.
When I’m off the mat I am happiest spending time with my family, socializing with friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
