Marc's Story
Marc (RYT-200) took their first yoga class in high school. It was deeply uncomfortable and took them several sessions to become familiar and enjoy the practice. This is life, no? Since then, Marc has found challenge and reliability in vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative, and Bikram practices. Marc has taught and trained across the east coast, with over 250 hours of yoga training from teacher Liz Glover Wilson in the Hudson Valley. A former competitive gymnast, Marc is also a half marathon runner and triathlete who understands the benefits of mobility, strength, and endurance in a physical practice. Marc's vinyasa-based classes are a challenging journey through the body, incorporating precise physical cues with offerings of advanced asana, arm balances, inversions, pranayama, and meditations. Variations are always offered for all levels. Marc cares deeply about understanding the impact of emotions on physicality, a life long learner of the meridians among other yogic systems. Learning the practice and teaching of yoga, an over 5,000 year old practice originating in northern India, has been an honor. Marc holds deep gratitude to all their teachers and students on this path.
