Sarah Schwab

Sarah's Story

Sarah was introduced to yoga in her early teens, and immediately fell in love with the physical challenge of the practice. She began practicing Vinyasa yoga regularly throughout her teens and early twenties. In 2022, Sarah became a 200 hour Registered Yoga and Meditation Teacher through the Raja-Hatha School of Yoga with an additional certification in Kids Yoga through Yoga International. In addition to her Yoga training, Sarah is a licensed Elementary and Middle School teacher and certified Holistic Health Coach, with experience teaching K-2nd grade, SEL (social-emotional learning), mindfulness, yoga, creative movement, and dance in the schools. She is certificated in Dance/Movement Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Hancock Center for Dance/Movement Therapy. Sarah is currently attending Pranayoga Institute and is on the path to becoming a Yoga Therapist.

Off the mat, Sarah enjoys doing activities that connect her back to the earth and to herself: rock climbing, ceramics, hiking, and dancing. She spends her freetime jamming to local live music, reading in her hammock, and traveling cross-country in her trusty sedan. Sarah looks forward to sharing pieces of her journey and practice with you!
