Vinyasa

The word vinyasa literally means to place in a special way. However, it is more commonly used to describe a fluid style of yoga. In this sense, vinyasa refers to traditional hatha yoga poses tied together in a flow linked with breath. At Capital Fitness oga, our teachers bring their own unique flavor and sequencing to each vinyasa class. Classes will include some combination of: meditation, breath work, sun salutations, standing poses, back bends, seated poses, inversions and relaxation. Come explore the many styles of our teaching community!
